Recycling is a great way to gift our planet this holiday season. Did you know that the average American throws out 81 pounds of clothing per year? That amounts to 26 billion pounds of textiles ending up in landfills.
In this class, our fabulous resident artist Cathy Cartwright will guide you through the process of giving old sweaters a new life as soft and woolly pinecone ornaments. Have an old sweater of your own that you would like to use? Bring it along or use one provided by Cathy. Whether you deck your tree, halls or windows with these lovely textile beauties, they are sure to warm your home this holiday season and beyond!
Friday, December 7th; 6-8:30pm
Cost is $30 per person for two pinecones, and includes all materials and instruction. You are welcome to bring in an old sweater of your own if you’d like!
