Glass fusing is the process of layering colorful pieces of glass, then firing them in a kiln to create unique and beautiful designs on everything from plates and coasters to suncatchers and jewelry.
In this class, Cathy Cartwright will guide students to have a little fun with science, art and history, while having a lot of fun with glass!
Cathy will have pre-cut and pre-fused pieces of glass, including strips, squares, bits, and pebbles. Students will design and assemble a 4"x 4" plate, with Cathy fusing and slumping them at her studio. They will be available for pick up at Art Box a week later.
