Botanical Smudge Stick Workshop with Carli Miller

Smudging is a tradition that goes back thousands of years. From the incense of Asia and Europe to the sage and cedar of the indigenous Americans, the smoke generated by plants has a primordial history of use as part of spiritual practice. The smoke from smudging can be deeply symbolic as it ascends to the heavens, bringing any prayers and intentions up with it. When you perform a smudging ritual, you are plugging in to an ancient and powerful line of spiritual tradition.

Smudging also allows you to wash away emotional and spiritual negativity that gathers in your body and your space over time. It's like taking a spiritual shower, washing away stress and providing energy, peace and rejuvenation. Smudging can also help your body and space to adjust to the healing rhythms of the seasonal cycle.

Join us for a night of fun with Carli Miller, owner of Wild Meraki, who will assist you in making your own beautiful smudge stick. Learn about the sacred art of smudging, cleansing your home and aura, the different properties and benefits that each herb offers, and the different senses they awaken. Then choose your own crystal to wrap inside your wand to make it even more magical! Hang your beautiful creation on a wall, or burn it with love and intention.
